What is withdrawal management?

L.A. CADA’s Residential Withdrawal Management Facility (RWMF), located in the Los Angeles General Restorative Care Village in Boyle Heights, provides a safe and supportive place for adults who need help when stopping or reducing their use of alcohol or other substances.

Withdrawal management means having trained professionals available to support and monitor a person as their body adjusts to stopping or reducing substance use. At RWMF, individuals receive 24-hour support, 365 days a year, while working toward the next step in their recovery.
